Partner update. Product Q3. Q3 releases and whats coming in Q4. Martyn Padden, Head of Product.
Summary. 01 Trust and verification: liveness checks, ID journey, moderation. 02 Monetisation: Boosts, consumable revenue, cross-sell. 03 Discovery and connection: Bio Quiz, voice notes, search, interests. 04 What the evidence says: three live tests and where each one goes next. 05 What is coming next: in development now.
01 Trust and verification. Liveness checks are passing twice as often as ID uploads. 64% liveness check pass rate, against 33% for ID document upload since launch. +10% ID pass rate uplift after the /photoidupload copy and layout rebuild, period on period, now 43%. Also live this quarter: /managemedia and /photoidupload rebuilt for clarity; Incognito settings; immediate Chat Room access for members who've passed Liveness Checks.
02 Monetisation. Boosts contribution to consumable offering. Boosted benefits: profile views 39 Excite, 31 Affinity; profile likes 31 and 22; messages received 3 and 1.7. On average Boosted members receive 72x more profile views and 10x more site messages than the same member receives unboosted. Revenue gains since launch: average consumable revenue +65%; one-time purchase revenue +97%. Since launching Boosts, total daily consumable revenue is up 65% and revenue from one-time purchases is up 97%.
03 Discovery and connection. Fuller profiles, and better ways to talk. Bio Quiz: +10% media uploads per registration. Members visit their own profile around five times a session, so post-signup prompting works harder than more signup steps. Voice Notes: live today. Members can record, upload and share voice notes on their profile, in one-to-one threads, in group chats and in chat rooms. Plus: active filters now shown on advanced search results; new Excite and Affinity interest sets; Thursday.com events.
Three tests, three decisions. Every change goes live with a success condition written before launch, and the result decides what happens to it next. Shorter signup on DP2, 15 steps cut to 11: registration completion rose from 74% to 79%, but the volumes were too low to be significant; test moved to The Adult Hub to run it under more traffic. Retesting. Active filter display, advanced search results: fewer upgrades from the search area, but higher engagement and more members funnelling through to profiles; MVP 2 will simplify the options and rework the UI. MVP 2. Qdrant matches stack, 90/10 control and test: higher yes rate but fewer clicks than the existing stack; flow rebuilt so quality profiles are mixed through the stack rather than front-loaded; still running. Monitoring.
05 Coming next. In development now. Member experience: themes; advanced search improvements; matches interruption for VIP; member availability control; Spaces UI/UX. Trust and safety: couples liveness checks; screenshot blocking in the native app; optional setting to mandate liveness check at signup. Partner: X-sell free template; X-sell campaign link; X-sell banner templates for global brands; X-sell UI/UX improvements; X-sell bug fixes.
