Creating a brand with Hubbi

Published Updated

Every brand is created by chatting with Hubbi, the AI assistant in the portal. There is no form to fill in: you describe the brand you want in plain language and Hubbi sets it up. It works smoothly when you do two things: put Hubbi in the right mode, and give it everything it needs in one clear message. This guide covers both, lists the options Hubbi understands, and gives example prompts that get a good result first time.

Been here before? The Changelog lists what has changed in this guide since your last visit.

Put Hubbi in Agent mode

The Hubbi chat panel showing a brand creation conversation. Marker 1 points to the New Chat button, 2 to the Chat History button, 3 to the assistant settings, 4 to the chat mode selector next to the message box, 5 to the send button. The current chat's title shows under the header.
The Hubbi chat: (1) start a fresh conversation, (2) chat history, (3) assistant settings, (4) the chat mode selector, (5) send.

Hubbi has three modes, chosen from the mode selector (4) beside the message box:

Creating a brand only works in Agent mode, so switch to it yourself before you type your request: open the mode selector and choose Agent first, rather than waiting for Hubbi to offer. Ask is the default, and in Ask mode Hubbi can talk about the brand but cannot actually create it, which looks like it keeps discussing or asking you to confirm without ever finishing. Switching yourself up front also avoids a confusing back-and-forth where Hubbi offers to switch mode partway through. If you do see a "Switch to Agent mode?" prompt, choose Yes.

The Hubbi chat with the mode menu open above the mode selector button, showing the three options: Ask, Plan, and Agent, with Agent highlighted. Marker 1 points to the mode selector button.
Open the mode selector (1) and choose Agent to create a brand.

If you forget and ask in the wrong mode, Hubbi shows a Switch to Agent mode? card explaining why the switch is needed. Choosing Yes switches and carries on with your request:

Your request (1), Hubbi's mode suggestion explaining why (2), and Yes to switch and continue (3).

Describe the brand in one message

Give Hubbi all the details at once rather than one at a time. The more you leave out, the more Hubbi has to guess or ask for, which is the main cause of a slow, back-and-forth session. Include:

You: Create a brand called Sober Dating Online. Mainstream, Sober niche, United Kingdom, English, blue palette.

Hubbi reads these, checks them against the options it supports, fills in anything sensible you did not specify, and shows you a summary to confirm before it creates anything.

Prefer to fill in a form? The Brand Builder turns your choices into this exact prompt for you, ready to copy or open straight in Hubbi.
Hubbi's reply to a brand request. Marker 1: an expandable Reasoning panel showing how Hubbi is thinking the task through. Marker 2: the summary of the brand it will create. Marker 3: the question asking you to confirm before anything is created.
Hubbi's reply: its reasoning (1), the summary of what it will create (2), and the confirmation question (3).

The Reasoning panel (1) is Hubbi showing its thinking as it works through your request. It is collapsed by default; click it to read how Hubbi interpreted what you asked for, which is handy when a detail comes back different from what you expected. Nothing in it needs a response, and your answer only ever goes to the question at the end (3).

The brand options Hubbi understands

Hubbi matches your words to a fixed set of options. Using the recognised terms below gets a clean match. If you are unsure, you can ask Hubbi directly, for example "what niches are available for an adult brand?", and it will list them.

Business type

Two types, and this choice also decides which niches are available. You may see them called by their network names, Affinity and Excite; in your message to Hubbi use the words Mainstream and Adult:

AffinityGeneral, non-explicit brands. Say Mainstream in your prompt.
ExciteAdult brands. Say Adult in your prompt.

Niche

The niche is required, and it must belong to the business type you chose. The lists below are current as of August 2026; the platform adds niches over time, and the Brand Builder always carries the up-to-date list.

Mainstream (Affinity) niches

Active, American, Asian, Aviation, BBW, Bisexual, Black, Board Game, Cat Lover, Child Free, Christian, Country Western, Countryside, Disabled, Divorced, Dog Lovers, Foodie, Gamers, Gay Men, Gay Women, Jewish, LGBTQ, Mature, Mental Health, Muslim, Paranormal, Pets, Politics, Senior, Single Parent, Sober, Spanish, Supernatural, Surfing, Tattoo, True Crime, Uniform, University, Vegan, Wealthy, Widows, Yoga.

Adult (Excite) niches

American, Asian, Aviation, BBW, BDSM, Black, Breasts, Butt, Cosplay, Cougar, Couples, Crossdressing, Dogging, Feet, Gay Men, Gay/Bi Male, Granny, Interracial, Latin, Legs, Lesbian, LGBTQ+, Mature, MILF, Petite, Senior, Spanish, Spanish BDSM, Spanish Lesbian, Sugar Daddy (Female), Sugar Daddy (Male), Tattoo, Threesome, Transgender, Uniform, Young.
Two things to know about niches. If nothing you say matches a niche, Hubbi uses No Niche (a general brand of that business type). And some niches offer an exclusive "hard" variant, where the brand's member pool comes only from people who joined that niche, with no members from other niches; ask Hubbi for the hard version, or use the "Members from this niche only" toggle in the Brand Builder where it is offered.

Language

Hubbi can create a brand in any of five languages:

English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German.

This sets the brand up in that language. For what does and does not appear translated on the live pages, see Showing your site in other languages →

Country

Choose Global, or a specific country as the brand's main market. A wide range of countries is supported, including the United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and Spain. If you do not say, Hubbi picks a sensible default, so name the country if it matters.

Audience age

An optional attribute with two settings: Normal (the default) or Senior, for a brand aimed at an older audience.

Colour

Give a colour or a palette name, for example blue, teal, or warm neutrals, and Hubbi matches it to one of its palettes. You can also ask Hubbi to list the palettes and pick one. A logo can be added now or later.

Best-practice prompts

Each of these gives Hubbi everything it needs in one go. Copy the shape and swap in your own details.

You: Create a brand called Countryside Match. Mainstream, Countryside niche, United Kingdom, English, green palette.
You: Create a brand called Senoras y Amigos. Mainstream, Senior niche, Spain, Spanish, warm palette.
You: Create an adult brand called Velvet Rope. Adult, Couples niche, Global, English, deep purple palette.
You: Create a brand called Foi et Rencontres. Mainstream, Christian niche, France, French, navy palette.
The pattern: "Create a brand called [name]. [Mainstream or Adult], [niche] niche, [country], [language], [colour] palette." Name first, then the six details, and you will almost always get it right first time.

Confirm and create

Hubbi should always check with you before creating anything: it summarises the brand it is about to build (name, type, niche, country, language, and palette), you read the summary, then reply "yes" to confirm. Hubbi creates the brand and takes you straight to it, ready for you to add pages.

Seen Hubbi jump straight to creating? Occasionally, especially right after a mode switch, Hubbi can skip the summary and create immediately. If you want to be certain of a check-first flow, say so in your message: end it with "show me a summary of what you will create and wait for my yes before creating anything". The Brand Builder prompt includes this instruction automatically.
After replying yes, Hubbi confirms the brand was created successfully. Marker 1: the confirmation with the brand's details. Marker 2: Hubbi's suggested next steps such as building the homepage, menus, or linking a domain.
Reply "yes": Hubbi confirms the brand is created (1) and offers sensible next steps (2).

Some Hubbi replies also include clickable suggestion buttons for the likely next step. Clicking one sends that request for you, so you do not have to type it out.

Your chats are saved

Hubbi keeps a history of your conversations, so a brand-creation chat (or any other session) is never lost when you close the panel. Two buttons sit in the chat header next to the Hubbi title:

The Hubbi Chat History panel. Marker 1 points to the New Chat button in the header, 2 to the Chat History clock button, 3 to a chat's quick actions: rename, star, and archive. The panel lists chats under Recent, with Older and Archived groups below.
The Chat History panel: New Chat (1), Chat History (2), and each chat's rename, star, and archive actions (3), with Recent, Older, and Archived groups.

The history panel groups your chats into Recent, Older, and Archived. Click any chat to reopen it and carry on where you left off. Each conversation is titled automatically, and each entry offers three quick actions:

If Hubbi gets stuck

Nearly every stuck session comes down to one of these. Each has a quick fix.

It says it cannot create the brand and to contact support or your account representative, even in Agent mode. This is an intermittent hiccup: Hubbi occasionally declines the create step even though everything is correct and you are in Agent mode. Simply reply "try again". It almost always creates the brand on the second attempt. You do not need to change anything or contact support.
It keeps talking or asking to confirm but never gets to a summary. If Hubbi never offers a summary to confirm, check the mode selector: in Ask mode the create action is not available to it. Switch to Agent mode (and make sure you are signed in), then send the full brand details again.
It set the wrong niche, or "No Niche". Niche matching is exact, so a word that is not on the list is dropped. Use a recognised niche name from the lists above. Then, once the brand exists, check the niche on the brand itself (in the brand's info): the chat summary sometimes reports the niche you asked for even when "No Niche" was actually saved. If it is wrong, ask Hubbi to set the niche again, or pick it from the list it shows you.
It filled in details you did not want. Anything you leave out gets a sensible default. If the country, language, or colour came out wrong, it was probably not stated. Give every detail in your message, then confirm.
It created a brand named "HubPeople" or similar. No name was recognised in your message. Always start with "Create a brand called [your name]" so the name is clear.
In short: set Hubbi to Agent mode, send the name plus the six details in one message, use recognised niche and colour terms, and reply "yes" to confirm. If it declines that first time, reply "try again".
