Connect your brands to AI Beta

The HubPeople MCP and the toolkit, in three steps.

1 Connect to the HubPeople MCP

Sign in once, and every brand is there

  • Under two minutes, once
  • The HubPeople login you already have
  • Ready on the web, desktop and phone

2 Let your AI manage your brands

Ask, check and change, from anywhere

  • Ask about brands, pages and members
  • Find what is broken, and fix it
  • Useful even if your pages live elsewhere

3 More powerful with the toolkit

Whole sites, not just single pages

  • A whole brand, down as files
  • Build pages and audit the lot
  • Backed up before anything is pushed

Connect to the HubPeople MCP

One custom connector, added once in under two minutes with the login you already have. The connection belongs to your Claude account rather than to a device, so it follows you: website, desktop app and phone.

The whole connection, start to finish, in real time. No sound needed.

  • Claude on the website
  • The Claude desktop app
  • The Claude app on your phone

Connect on the website or the desktop app. The other two pick it up on their own the next time you open them, because the connection is stored with your Claude account, not on the machine you made it on.

  1. Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it HubPeople and paste https://mcp.hubpeople.ai/mcp Leave everything else as it arrives.
  3. Sign in with your HubPeople login and approve. Set Read-only tools to Always allow.
The connection, in technical detail

Let your AI manage your brands

Use the HubPeople MCP to read across your portfolio and update it: what is on a brand, what its pages say, who your members are, and the changes you want made. Its tools sit alongside whatever else you already use.

Ask what it says, ask for three options, pick one, see it live. No sound needed.

Three to start with. Put your own brand's name where it says [brand].

  • Everything on your account.

    List my HubPeople brands.

  • What is on a brand, and what is missing.

What pages does [brand] have, and what needs fixing?

  • A change, shown to you before it saves.

Give me three alternatives for the headline on [brand]'s homepage. Show me before you change anything.

Anything bigger needs the toolkit: a new page, a whole section, a stylesheet.

Everything the MCP can do

More powerful with the toolkit

Connecting lets it see your brands. The toolkit lets it work on them: whole sites, new pages, audits, all previewed before anything goes live.

Pull a brand down, two looks, preview, push. About two minutes, no sound needed.

A folder you download once

One download, the same for every brand. It pulls a brand down as files, builds and audits pages on your machine, and pushes back when you say so, with a backup each time. Not the per-brand zip from the portal.

  1. In the Claude desktop app, open the Code tab and open an empty folder called hubpeople-toolkit.
  2. Paste the setup prompt as your first message. Claude checks the folder, fetches the release, verifies it and unpacks it.

The same steps in full

Prompts to try on your first run

List my HubPeople brands.

What pages does [brand] have?

Audit [brand] and tell me the three things most worth fixing.

What next

Tell us what you think

This is a beta. What you report decides what comes next.

Something confusing, a wrong answer, or a thing you wish it could do: two minutes on the form and it reaches the team.

Feedback
The setup prompt
Set up the HubPeople toolkit in this folder.

Before anything, two checks. Tell me the result of both.

A. The folder. Tell me its full path. If it is a temporary or scratch folder the app made rather than one I picked, stop and tell me to open a real folder first: anything installed in a temporary one disappears when the session ends.

B. Is the toolkit already here? Look for a VERSION file at the top level of this folder. If there is one, do not install anything. Read it, compare it with the newest release at https://api.github.com/repos/Hubpeople-Limited/hubpeople-agentic-toolkit/releases/latest, and tell me which version I have and whether it is the current one. If a newer one exists, offer to upgrade and wait for me to say yes: an upgrade unpacks outside this folder, replaces only the files named in MANIFEST, and must never touch PREFERENCES.md, NOTES.md, brands/ or audits/. If I already have the newest, say so and stop.

Only if there is no VERSION file, install it:

1. Download https://github.com/Hubpeople-Limited/hubpeople-agentic-toolkit/releases/latest/download/hubpeople-toolkit.zip and https://github.com/Hubpeople-Limited/hubpeople-agentic-toolkit/releases/latest/download/SHA256SUMS into this folder. If either address is not found, read https://api.github.com/repos/Hubpeople-Limited/hubpeople-agentic-toolkit/releases/latest instead and download that release's agentic-toolkit-*.zip asset; its SHA256 is in the release notes.

2. Check the zip's SHA256 against the line for hubpeople-toolkit.zip in SHA256SUMS, or against the release notes if you used them; stop and tell me if it does not match.

3. Extract it: the zip holds one top-level folder, so put that folder's contents directly in this folder, with AGENTS.md, VERSION and MANIFEST at the top level.

4. Delete the zip, SHA256SUMS and any empty folder left behind, then list what is here.

5. Sign off warmly and briefly, in this shape: a line saying it looks like I am set up, with a celebration emoji; the VERSION you installed; a line telling me to start a new chat in this folder; then, on its own line, the exact message to paste there: List my HubPeople brands

Do not generate or download a toolkit ZIP from the HubPeople portal; that is the older toolkit and not the one I want. Do not change anything on my HubPeople account; this is setup only.
