  • ImprovedThe old toolkit download has gone: connect your brands to AI instead

The portal no longer offers the old downloadable toolkit. To work on your brands with an AI assistant, connect it to your HubPeople account and set up the toolkit from there, which takes a couple of minutes. The tab where the download used to be is now called File Uploads, for your brand's images, fonts, videos and zip bundles, and the "new" and "early access" labels have come off it.

  • NewMore control over the sign-up card

Every choice on the sign-up card is now a setting with a sensible default, and you ask for changes in your own words: the order of the questions, how the date of birth is asked on phones and on laptops, which answers get a short line after them, and when the members' faces show and how many.

Every word on the card can change too, the buttons and error messages included. On a site that is not in English the assistant writes them in your site's language, kept short for a phone. Sign-up cards already on your site keep what they show.

  • NewMore ways to build a page

The section library the toolkit builds pages from has grown. These are options the assistant can offer when you build or change a page, and it is still early days for them:

    • New ways to open a page: in tiles, on a collage of your photographs, with the sign-up beside a large portrait, and a shorter photo opening for inner and location pages.
    • New sections: a row of your own people's faces, a timeline told in dates, story cards for couples who met on your site, and a quote set over a photograph.
    • Gentle movement, offered and never hidden. A page moves only when you pick a version that moves.
    • Menu button styles on phones: the bars alone by default, with four styles to choose from. If your header shows the word "Menu" and you never chose it, the assistant offers once to take it off.
    • Tidier on phones: rows of members and photos slide with round arrows instead of scroll bars, and the header stays on one row.
    • Real people only: a person a page names is shown only in a photograph of them that you have sent, and a quote waits for a real one.
    • No sticky Join bar on a page that opens with the sign-up card, since the two do the same job.

Nothing on your live pages changes unless you choose it.

Grok Bot, and other Cursor cloud agents, can now sign in to the HubPeople connector. Until now they were turned away at sign-in.

  • ImprovedThe toolkit runs on the Python your Mac already has

Downloading a brand's site could stop partway on a Mac's own Python, and the assistant could then offer to install a newer one. Any Python from 3.9 up now runs every step. On a computer with no Python at all, the assistant offers to set it up for you: about a minute, nothing to click, and nothing installed outside your own user folder.

  • ImprovedTown and region pages show that place's members

A page about a town or region now shows members from that place, and the assistant tells you where the members shown are from.

  • ImprovedShorter messages when you choose a page version

When the assistant shows you versions of a new page, it now sends one short line per version, anything you must know before it goes live, and one question. Each version is named for how it opens and what it shows. Say "tell me more" for the wording, what was left out and why, and the photographs it would like.

  • NewBrand notes that travel with your brand

Notes on how to work on a brand are now saved on the brand itself, not on one computer, so everyone who works on it starts from the same notes, on any computer and with any assistant connected to your account. The assistant reads them before it starts, says when they apply and follows them. Ask for something different and it tells you once what the notes say, then does it your way.

Anyone on a brand except a viewer can add a line, stamped with their name and the date, and the brand's owner can rewrite the notes whole.

  • NewVisitors can start signing up on your page

A home page or landing page can now carry a short sign-up card in place of the join button. It asks one question at a time, shows live members, and can ask where the visitor lives, down to the town or a US ZIP code. After each answer it shows a short encouraging line, in your brand's own voice if you like.

  • NewAsk for more than two versions of a new page

The toolkit still shows you two versions of a new page to choose between, and now builds more whenever you ask. You can ask for another set, or for a change to one, such as "like B with A's opening". A layout you passed over is not offered again on a later page of the same kind, and versions of an article now differ in how they read, not only in how they look.

  • ImprovedThe versions of a page arrive faster

Every version you choose between is built in one step, so asking to see more than two adds little time. Pages below your home page, at an address such as /offers/summer, now link back to the home page and to your other pages correctly.

    AI & toolkitToolkit 0.99.0

  • ImprovedYour pictures come across when you move a site

A moved page now carries every picture the old page had, in its place, copied onto the platform so nothing depends on the old site any more. You see each new page on your brand's temporary address, hidden from search engines and menus, before you choose it, and you can send your own photos whenever you have them.

24Thu
  • ImprovedMove your site by giving its address

Ask the toolkit to move your site and give it the address. It finds the brand the site belongs to, shows a short checklist of where the move is up to at every stop, and finds the pages your old site has but never links to. Your live site is not touched until you switch the domain yourself, as the last step.

  • NewVideos come across with your site zip

When you upload your site as a zip, any .mp4 or .webm video files in it are now uploaded with the pages, and the pages point at them. A page with a video on it arrives complete, with nothing to upload separately.

  • FixedYour indexing setting is the one search engines see

A page set to Indexed or Not indexed now carries only that one instruction for search engines. A leftover tag can no longer contradict the setting you chose.

PlatformClient 4.11.0Backend 4.20.0The Indexing Switch: Keeping Pages Out of Search

  • NewSwap a new page into place in one step, home page included

A new page can now take over an existing address, your home page included, in a single step. There is no moment when the address shows nothing, which makes launch day on a moved site one instruction rather than several.

AI & toolkitMoving an Existing Site onto the Platform

  • NewTell the assistant when something goes wrong

If something fails or behaves oddly, ask the assistant to report it. It sends what it was doing and what went wrong straight to our team, so you do not have to describe it again.

    AI & toolkit

  • ImprovedChange the text on template pages from a chat

Pages built from the platform's templates, not only Canvas pages, can now have their text changed from a chat: a heading, a paragraph, a button label. The layout stays as the template sets it, and any field your template locks stays locked.

    AI & toolkit

  • ImprovedSearch titles and descriptions set reliably

Setting a page's search title and description from a chat now takes every time, and a page moved onto the platform keeps the title and description it arrived with.

    AI & toolkitSocial & Sharing

  • ImprovedThe toolkit tells you when a newer version is out

The assistant now learns of a new toolkit release by itself and tells you once, never in the middle of building a page. It still only upgrades when you say so. Setting the toolkit up in a new folder, or a lost one, now needs nothing but the connector.

AI & toolkitToolkit 0.96.0Upgrading the toolkit

  • ImprovedPicking up a brand is one download

Everything the assistant needs to know about your brand, its pages, menus, pictures, prices, member figures, reviews and polls, now arrives in one download instead of many separate questions. On a large brand that saves several minutes before any work starts, and the page list now includes every page on the site.

  • NewA new way of building pages

New pages now start from a shape suited to the kind of page, and you choose between two finished pages rather than two sketches. Your own photographs go on the page, the preview is the page as a visitor will see it, and a page and its styling go live together or not at all.

  • NewNew guide: moving an existing site onto the platform

If one of your brands has a website living somewhere other than the portal, you can bring it across without losing the addresses, the wording or the rankings it has built up. The new guide is the whole route, and your live site carries on serving visitors the entire way through:

    • Which brand to move first, and why a thin site on an old domain is one of the best candidates rather than the worst.
    • Finding the brand in the portal. It is already there, whatever is serving its website today, so there is nothing to create.
    • What the read gives you back, agreeing the plan address by address, and what a yes actually authorises when a set runs to hundreds of pages.
    • Previewing the whole thing on your temporary address while the old site is still live, and the content checks worth doing by eye.
    • The redirect map, the launch-day order, and the two steps that fail silently if they are missed.
    • A prompt for every stage, with what a good answer back looks like, plus four checklists and a fast path for a site of only a page or two.

  • NewThe assistant knows your brand's facts, and remembers what it did

Alongside your members and reviews, the assistant can read your pricing, your polls and your members' interests, and uses them instead of making figures up. It also keeps notes on each brand, so the next conversation starts where the last one stopped.

  • ImprovedA check before every delete, and menus from the toolkit

  • ImprovedA refused change tells you why

If a change is refused, the assistant now says why: usually that your login is not a member of that brand, or that the page is one edited in the portal rather than from a chat. It tells you what to do next instead of trying again.

    AI & toolkit

  • NewConnect your brands to AI: the open beta

From today any partner can connect Claude to their HubPeople account with the login they already have, in under two minutes, and ask it about their brands from the web, the desktop app and their phone. A change to a page is shown first and goes live only on your yes.

    • One custom connector on your Claude account, no token to create or keep. It follows your account, so it is on your phone the moment it is on your laptop.
    • Ask what a brand has, what a page says, who your members are and what they say in reviews. Change a headline or a description from any chat.
    • The toolkit, a folder you open once in the Claude desktop app, pulls a whole brand down, builds pages in your brand's look, previews them beside the conversation and pushes them back with a backup before every push.
    • Beta means it is working on your live brands and we want your feedback: a two-minute form on every help page reaches the team the same day.

  • NewManage your menus from a chat

Ask the assistant to add a link to your navigation, reorder it, remove an item or put a page into a menu, and it makes the change in the portal.

    • Choose which menus a page appears in, from the chat.
    • Hand menu management over entirely, so a new page is added to the right menu without being asked.
    • Items that sit under another item show where they belong.

AI & toolkitDeep dive: Menus Connect your brands to AI

  • NewMove, remove and restore pages, and ask for a rebuild

A page can be moved to a new address or removed, and a page removed by mistake can be brought back. You can also ask whether a saved change has reached the live page yet, and ask for a rebuild if it has not, rather than refreshing and hoping.

AI & toolkitConnect your brands to AI

  • ImprovedA page pushed from this folder before is checked against what the platform holds now, not only against a version number

The freshness record keeps the hash the platform stored at each push, and before pushing that page again the assistant asks the platform for the hash it holds and compares the two. That catches a change another hand made in the gap the version counter cannot see. Nothing changes for a page never pushed from here.

    AI & toolkitToolkit 0.85.0

  • ImprovedThe operating guide is shorter and inside its budget again

The offer table, the backup narrative and the zip-push steps now point at the reference files that already carried their detail. No rule changed.

    AI & toolkitToolkit 0.85.0

  • ImprovedThe toolkit's own version number is yours to hear

The guide's rule about not narrating machinery now says what it always meant: the platform's per-page version counters stay in the assistant's notes. Which toolkit version you have, and that a newer one exists, are said plainly.

    AI & toolkitToolkit 0.84.0

  • ImprovedThe brand card's worked example is a production one

, and the reference material names only the production portal address. The assistant still reads which environment a session is on from the platform, as before.

    AI & toolkitToolkit 0.84.0

  • ImprovedThe assistant knows which Python to run: python3 on a Mac, python on Windows

A Mac already has it. Where the command for the machine is not there, the assistant says so once, in plain terms, with what to install, and carries on once it is. It no longer stops short or works around the toolkit's own scripts.

    AI & toolkitToolkit 0.83.0

  • ImprovedThe preview still works on a Mac when the side pane does not open

The pane's setting can only name one command and names the Windows one; on a Mac the assistant starts the same preview itself and gives you the address to open in your browser.

    AI & toolkitToolkit 0.83.0

  • ImprovedAn SVG logo is measured with nothing installed

The assistant asks for the SVG before mentioning anything to install; only a PNG or JPG logo needs an extra package.

  • ImprovedREADME.md says, in one sentence, that the toolkit's helpers run on Python 3

README.md says, in one sentence, that the toolkit's helpers run on Python 3.

    AI & toolkitToolkit 0.83.0

  • ImprovedConnect before you install

README.md now puts the connector first, so the toolkit's first session opens by reporting your connection rather than the absence of one. Neither step changed, only the order they are read in, and the folder warning now sits with the install steps, where the folder first exists.

    AI & toolkitToolkit 0.82.0

  • NewThe Members widget: show real, current members on any page

Drop a Member Loop block from the editor's snippet library onto a Canvas page and the platform fills it with real members from your brand when the page is built: photo, first name and age, town, a line they wrote themselves, and an ID-verified badge where they have earned one. You choose who appears and how the block reads:

    • Target a country, region or city, choose member types, an age range, how many to show and the photo size.
    • Every visible piece of wording is yours to set, including the link on each card and where it goes, so the block works in any language.
    • Pages carrying the widget are refreshed automatically on a schedule, so the members shown stay current without you republishing.
    • The block contains no JavaScript, so pages using it import cleanly when you upload your site as a zip.

The new Showing Live Members on Your Pages guide covers choosing the place correctly, styling the block to match your brand, and what to check before you publish.

  • NewSee which pages search engines can index, without opening them

Your page list now shows each page's indexing setting on the row itself, so you no longer have to open a page to find out. A globe next to a page means search engines can index it, and a crossed out globe means it is hidden from them. Hover either one for a short explanation. Above the list you will find three new buttons, All, Indexed and Not indexed:

    • Choose Indexed or Not indexed to show only those pages, and choose All to go back to the full list.
    • A count appears underneath, for example "12 pages not indexed", so you can see how much of your site is affected at a glance.

  • NewChoose the language of your brand, and of any single page

Your brand's language is now yours to change, and you can override it on individual pages. There are three places to set it, and a guide to how they fit together:

    • Your brand's language, on the About your brand tab, next to your niche. You no longer need to ask us to change it.
    • A single page's language, on that page's Landing tab, for the times one page needs to speak a different language from the rest of the site.
    • Many pages at once, through the Page Language column on the Bulk Page Editor's SEO Metadata tab.

Bulk edit your pages' attributes quickly, either straight in the portal or by exporting and re-importing a CSV. Filter to a section of your site by path, then change many pages at once across three areas:

    • SEO metadata: page title, description, keywords, indexing and the canonical address.
    • Social and schema: the share-card fields, plus article type, author and dates.
    • Menu configuration: which navigation and footer menu each page uses.

  • ImprovedA clearer toolkit download screen

The Agentic Toolkit download screen has clearer wording and shows your brand data options up front. Before you download, you can see at a glance how much poll and demographics data you have to include, and a How it works link takes you straight to the setup guide.

14Tue
  • NewFrench and German languages now added

When your brand is set to French or German, the shared parts of your public pages now appear in that language: the footer, the cookie-consent banner, the legal-link labels and the social widgets. This joins the English, Spanish and Portuguese already supported. You can now create a French or German brand with Hubbi, too.

13Mon
  • FixedSitemaps handle unusual dates and time zones

Sitemap generation is now stricter about odd or missing page dates and pins every entry to a consistent time zone, so a page with a stray date can no longer produce an invalid sitemap entry for search engines to trip over.

9Thu
  • ImprovedClearer, live page render status

The Page Render Status area now updates live while a page rebuilds: an animated indicator shows when a render is pending, the status keeps checking on its own until the page settles, and a 'Last rendered' time tells you how long ago it finished. Confirming that a rebuild has actually happened is now immediate and reliable.

  • ImprovedSmoother page browsing on large brands

Moving around your page tree no longer triggers unnecessary reloads or jumps back to the top, so navigating a brand with many pages feels quicker and keeps your place.

  • ImprovedBetter, fresher sitemaps

Sitemaps are now produced the moment you generate them instead of waiting behind the render queue, and each entry carries the page's real last-updated date rather than today's, so search engines get an accurate, up-to-date picture of your site.

  • FixedQuotation marks no longer break page rendering

Pages whose content contains quote characters now render correctly, instead of certain quote sequences occasionally breaking the page.

  • NewSearch and filter your pages

The page browser has been rebuilt with a filter box: search your pages by name or path, see a live count of matches, and clear the search in one click. You can also switch between a Brand Pages view and a Brand Assets view. Behind the scenes the page tree now updates instantly after you create, move, or change pages, even on brands with a lot of pages.

PlatformClient 3.98.0Backend 3.79.0Finding and Searching Your Pages

  • ImprovedSee and copy rejected items after a bulk upload

After a bulk (ZIP) upload, a Rejected tab lists every page and asset that was skipped along with the specific reason it was rejected, and a 'Copy rejection report' button copies the whole list so you can act on it or share it. No more guessing why something did not come through.

    PlatformClient 3.98.0Backend 3.79.0Uploading a Site with a ZIP

  • ImprovedCurrent version clearly marked in content history

In a page's content history, the version you are currently on is now labelled 'Current' and locked, so you cannot accidentally restore the version you are already using, and dates are shown in a consistent format.

    PlatformClient 3.98.0Backend 3.79.0

6Mon
  • ImprovedClearer content version history

The content history view for a page is easier to read. It shows how many versions there are, numbers each one, gives an accurate count of what changed in each version, and states exactly what each version is compared against. Telling versions apart and restoring the right one is now much simpler.

    PlatformClient 3.94.1Backend 3.76.2

  • ImprovedMore reliable bulk (ZIP) imports

Bulk imports are steadier. One problem page no longer stops the whole import, the rest of your pages still come through, and images on imported pages now display correctly instead of sometimes appearing broken.

    PlatformClient 3.94.1Backend 3.76.2Uploading a Site with a ZIP

  • ChangedCustom JavaScript in uploaded pages is now restricted

For security and compliance, pages brought in through a bulk (ZIP) import can no longer include custom JavaScript in the page body. Structured data for search engines (JSON-LD schema) is unaffected and keeps working as before. If your pages rely on custom scripts, please get in touch so we can help you find the right approach.

If a page you expected is missing after an import, a custom script in the page is the likely reason.

  • FixedCorrect custom-domain setup instructions

When you connect your own domain for a members area, the portal now shows the correct address to point your domain at for your type of brand. Some brands previously saw the wrong target.

    PlatformClient 3.94.1Backend 3.76.2

  • FixedSitemaps work on temporary domains

Brands still on a temporary HubPeople address now get a valid sitemap, so search engines can read your pages before you have connected a custom domain.

  • ImprovedSee when a page was last rendered

The Page Render Status indicator in the page editor now shows a version number that ticks up each time a page is rebuilt, plus a last rendered time telling you how long ago the page finished rendering (for example '2 minutes ago'). It is now easy to confirm that a rebuild has happened, and when.

  • ImprovedShare images use widely-supported formats

Social share images now accept JPG and PNG. SVG and WebP are no longer offered for share images, because social platforms do not display them reliably. Your other brand images are unaffected.

  • NewClean up stale pages

A new Clean Stale HTML button clears out stale page HTML left over for your brand: for example when a page you deleted or moved still loads at its old address (often spotted when Google Search Console flags it as still returning a 200). Normally the platform tidies these up for you; this is there to force it on the occasions when one slips through.

  • NewSocial and SEO controls for every page

Set a custom share image, title, and description for each page and watch a live preview update as you type, showing how the page will look when shared on social and how its search snippet will appear. Leave any field blank and it falls back to your brand-level defaults. Every page now generates search-engine markup automatically, and pages marked as articles can carry an author and publish date for richer search results.
